The Person Behind the Lens
My connection to image-making began with art.
I have a background in Visual Arts and, before photography, I spent several years working as a footwear designer in Felgueiras, Porto.
That experience taught me the value of detail, form, and aesthetics — all of which now shape my perspective as a photographer.
I’m a passionate cinephile — I watch everything, following stories rather than genres.
This love for visual storytelling deeply influences my approach to cinematic wedding photography.
I want your photos to feel like they belong in a great film: honest, powerful, soulful.
Music is another important part of who I am.
I’m a heavy metal fan (all its subgenres!) but also have a soft spot for singer-songwriter music — the kind that speaks deep truths with meaningful lyrics.
And I carry a proud nerdy side with me — I grew up with Star Wars, Pokémon, and still consider myself a bit of a gamer wannabe.
All of this is part of me — and it all shows through in my photography.
